As a therapist, Greg has had the privilege of witnessing clients work through immense challenges, hurts, and losses. This experience has shown him that people are resilient and often able to overcome many of life’s difficulties when provided with adequate support.

Because conflicts and suffering are inevitable in life, his goal is to provide support tailored to the client, encourage growth through insight, and walk alongside someone as they learn to feel whole again.

With a BA in Psychology and a Masters in Counselling Psychology, Greg began his career in a mental health setting working with depression, anxiety, and suicidality. However, later on, worked in a private practice setting where his clients came to therapy for stress, relational conflicts, and grief, among many other issues.

Greg’s theoretical orientation primarily includes Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive-Behavioural therapy (CBT), and Gottman Method Couples therapy, while gleaning additional interventions from other theoretical frameworks.

When coming to see Greg for therapy, you can expect the experience to be collaborative (meaning; he works together with the client’s direction in resolving/managing their presenting problem) and real (meaning; he hopes to build a good relationship with the client and be down-to-earth).

When not at work, Greg enjoys hunting, fishing, playing guitar, travelling, and hosting get-togethers where he is normally cooking in the kitchen or on the grill. Additionally, he feels most recharged when he can spend time with his wife and four kids.
